Three reasons your margin is lying to you

None of these are mistakes. They are what happens when the numbers live in your head instead of on a page.

01

You never paid yourself

Most home sellers put nothing down for their own hours. Leave your wage out and a business that loses money looks like one that makes it.

02

You costed by the packet

Butter is RM24 a kilo. Your recipe uses 250 g. That is RM6, not RM24 — and one batch has a dozen ingredients doing the same thing.

03

You know your price, not your number

How many do you have to sell tomorrow to hit the profit you want? That single number changes how you spend every hour of your week.

Five questions, in the order you already think

Nothing to install and nothing to set up. Open it and answer.

01
What are you selling, and for how much?
One piece, a pack, a tray, a balang — you choose the word and everything follows it.
02
What goes into one batch?
Names and amounts only. A batch of 500 packed 50 to a balang is ten balang, and it works that out for you.
03
What did each ingredient cost?
The pack size on the label and what you paid. Your batch cost climbs as you type.
04
What does a month cost you?
Gas, electric, rent, petrol — and your own wage, which it will not let you skip quietly.
05
What profit do you want to keep?
Then it tells you how many you must sell a day to get there, and what to change if you cannot.

What it does, and what it does not

Better you know now than after you have paid.

  • Costs a recipe down to the gram
  • Tells you your real margin, not a guess
  • Gives you a daily sales target you can act on
  • Shows what raising your price by RM1 would do
  • It is not accounting software
  • It does not take orders or track stock
  • It will not guess prices — you enter what you paid
  • It cannot make a bad price work. It will tell you so.

Questions

Do I need internet to use it?

Only once, when you first enter your licence key. After that it works with no connection at all — your numbers are worked out on your own device.

Is this a monthly subscription?

No. You pay once and keep the version you bought for good. If we release a major new edition later it may be sold separately, but nothing you have paid for stops working.

What if I change my phone?

One licence covers three devices. If you run out, message us and we will reset it for you.

Can you see my recipes and my costs?

No. Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere. The only thing that touches our server is your licence key, once, on the day you activate.

I sell more than one thing. Does that work?

Do one product at a time, then save a backup file for each. Open a backup any time to come back to it, and save a PDF report to compare them side by side.

I am not good with apps.

It asks five questions and shows you the answer. There is an example built in, so you can tap once and watch the whole thing work before you type anything of your own.
